The Robot Newspaper selected and announced ‘Top 25 Korea Robot Companies of the Year 2021’ on the 2nd.
A total of 25 companies were selected as 2021 Korea Robot Company of the Year in five categories, including industrial robots, professional service robots, personal service robots, robot parts, and robot software, by evaluating comprehensive factors such as achievements that contributed to the development of the Korean robot industry in 2021, the future growth potential of the company, CEO management ability, new product announcements, and market responses. No award-winning company in the educational robot sector since last year, as the educational robot industry was severely affected by the COVID-19.
Listing the selected companies by sector,
△Industrial robots = Five companies, including Neuromeca, Doosan Robotics, Mint Robot, T-Robotics, and Hyundai Robotics
△Professional service robot = Eight companies, including Goyoung Technology, Lounge Lab, Robot & Design, Mirae Company, Syscon, LG Electronics, Curexo, and Twinny
△Personal service robot = Five companies, including Robocare, Angel Robotics, Eugene Robot, JM Robotics, and Hexar Humancare
△Robot parts = Six companies, including Robotis, SBB Tech, SPG, Adin Robotics, Koberry, and Higen Motor
△Robot software = A total of 25 companies, including Clobot company.
Among these companies, Eugene Robot received the award for six consecutive years beginning 2016. Neuromeca received the award for five consecutive years from 2017 and Doosan Robotics received the award for four consecutive years. T-Robotics and SBB Tech won the awards four times, though not in successive years. SPG, Syscon, and Angel Robotics have won them three straight years. Hyundai Robotics, Higen Motor, and Robocare won the third times including this year. Twiny, Curexo, Aidin Robotics, Koyoung Technology, and Clobot won the awards for two consecutive years.
Mint Robot, Lounge Lab, Mirae Company, LG Electronics, JM Robotics, Hexar Humancare, Koberry, and Robot & Design are the first to receive awards this year.
It will be held at the L Tower in Yangjae-dong, Seoul, and a robot company meeting will be held after the awards ceremony.
