How We Began

HEXAR Humancare was born in the Robotics Engineering Lab of Hanyang University. HEXAR Humancare studied wearable robots in Korea based on robot technology for the first time. HEXAR Humancare tried to compensate for human physical weaknesses by utilizing R&D capabilities and robot technology. In other words, HEXA Humancare’s small step has begun to realize its dream of strengthening human muscle strength and power by increasing movements and activities to create more amazing opportunities.

HEXAR Humancare is striving to develop technologies to improve the quality of life through robot research, one of the core technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. HEXAR Humancare combines robot technology with medicine and rehabilitation to help humans maintain a better life. It utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) and big data technologies to enable precision treatment and on-demand rehabilitation treatment.

Wearable robot technology can also be used for construction sites, industrial sites, welfare, rescue, and military use to assist or strengthen human strength, increase productivity and efficiency, help the elderly and the socially disadvantaged, and protect lives. In addition, it is now drawing attention as a model for coping with the national crisis of decreasing labor force and labor efficiency and increasing economic losses accompanied by the trend of low birth rates and an aging society.

HEXAR Humancare is expanding its business to construction, industry, welfare, rescue, and military based on research results in the medical and rehabilitation fields. Since the company’s establishment, we have focused on securing original technologies in various applied sectors and conducting clinical trials. From now on, we will compete in the global market on a full scale by commercializing proven original technologies.

Many domestic and foreign venture investors have shown interest in HEXAR Humancare’s technology and vision. In 2019, HEXAR financed about 4 billion won in investment.
